Tattoo Removal
Non Laser Saline Tattoo Removal Saline removal is a non-laser, natural approach to tattoo removal. We tattoo a natural saline solution called Li-FT into the skin which breaks up the healed pigment which is then removed externally instead of internally. This allows the pigment particles to be released through a scab rather than to be absorbed and processed through the body. As pigment rises to the surface, a scab will form, and will fall off as the removal area heals, revealing a lightened tattoo.
We cannot remove more than 1 square inch of tattoo on the skin, this is about the size of a full set of brows or a small sized tattoo.
There are different factors that contribute to how many sessions are needed. In some cases, one session can remove a tattoo, but in most cases a few sessions are required for complete removal. After your first session, we will have a better idea of how many sessions are needed.
Factors that contribute to the need for multiple sessions:
· What type of pigment is to be removed
· How recent the tattoo was done
· How deep the pigment was implanted
· How saturated the pigment is
· What part of the body the tattoo is on
· How sensitive the skin is
· How well the skin heals
· How well the aftercare instructions are followed
· How much pigment is to be removed
Please note, tattoo removal is not possible if you are;
Pregnant
have a bleeding disorder
Uncontrolled diabetes
Hypo or hyper pigmentation
Keloid scarring
Sunburn in the are to be treated
If you have taken antibiotics in the past 12 months
